A friend brought a tres leche cake from here and I have to admit, I am not a tres leche cake fan but this cake was great! Light, moist, and just the right amount of sweet! I get that tres leche cakes have milk in them but I've had them where they are super soggy. Yuck! No thanks! Ordered a tres leche cake for the hubs bday. Ordering was easy and pick up straight to the counter was even easier. I guess they don't decorate cuz they don't need to to sell their cakes. Only gave them 4 stars because I haven't tried other items there but the cake was awesome...

Lovely neighborhood bakery. Came here after lunch for a sweet treat. There was a line outside but it moved fast. There was lots to choose from (cookies, cupcakes, tarts, croissants, etc). I got a chocolate eclair. It was light and filled with yummy cream and wasn't too sweet. The staff were friendly and efficient. Prices are on par with what I'd expect for SF. I would sum up Noe Valley Bakery as a beloved local spot. Nothing to fly across the country specifically for, but I would definitely stop by anytime I'm in Noe Valley.

I go here for three things: challah buns, butter pound cake, scallion focaccia. That's it. I am not a fan of American cakes so I skip the cake section all together. I prefer European pastries and cake and for that nothing beats One65. But the three things I mentioned - are absolutely outstanding. Service is ok - sometimes you are greeted well and sometimes, you better know what you are getting. If you are indecisive then the service level goes down dramatically. Ambiance is - get in and get out. There is no ambiance.

This was one of the first bakeries I tried in SF. Their almond croissant is a must anytime I am visiting. Their pastries are so good and I would say reasonably priced. This place also makes cakes that you can reserve for pickup. Every time that I have stopped by, they are always busy but I don't think that I've ever waited longer than 10 minutes. I usually don't have a problem with parking but the street parking does fill up depending on what time you go. The inside is pretty spacious but is usually filled with customers waiting to order or pay. I will be back and would recommend this place to others.

If you're looking for a wide selection of baked goods - Noe Valley Bakery is the way to go! There is a huge array of cupcakes and goodies to choose from - it was pleasantly overwhelming! I ultimately got the twice baked almond croissant and a quiche - do NOT sleep on their quiches! This was the perfect sweet + savory combo, i highly recommend! The staff are super friendly and helpful too - don't be alarmed by the long lines because they go quickly :) Thank you Noe Valley Bakery team!

Good customer service. Really great bread, some baking goods are good. I would stay away from the cupcakes they're very pricey and the frosting seems very heavily butter based. I ordered the champagne cupcake and it was below my expectations in terms of both the cake and the frosting.

Their cakes are delicious and love the flavor, soft texture, and that they aren't too sweet! A friend picked these up last minute same-day for a birthday celebration. Very convenient. The tres leches was my favorite of the two and had a great coconut flavor and softer crumb. The Oreo cake was also very tasty, with a more chocolatey and firm crumb. Relative to the tres leche I do think this cake tastes sweeter, but still manageable. I think the 6" cake estimate of 8-10 people assumes decent larger slices, since realistically ~12 people can easily share each cake and it worked out for our group!

Best bakery in the city! Got my husband a carrot cake for his birthday and it was so delicious, hands down the best cake i've had. They wrote happy birthday on it for me in any color i wanted too. It was $50 for a 8 in cake which fed all 20+ adults and is incredibly affordable when you compare to the chains like susie's. I'll be back any time i need a cake!

I was super happy with Noe Valley! I ordered a cake for delivery and the general service was great. I ordered the cake about a week prior. They sent me a tracking link and came very prompt during the time window they provided. The cake itself was also great though a little heavy. We ordered the 6" birthday cake and got a message on the cake (blurred out the name at the bottom for privacy). The chocolate flavor was super rich and the butter icing was great but a little heavy.
